Diagnosis: Right chronic subdural hematoma

Present history: This patient was admitted to hospital on 5th/October since he had his head injuried one and half month ago, he presented headache and dizziness for one week. He fell down from horse back and got a head injury in Aug. 19th, 2006. He had a cranial CT scan then, which shows no positive findings. He only got facial contusion, he was given debridement on other hospital outpatient department. And no further treatment. In the end of September, he felt headache ,accompany with nausea and vomiting. In Oct. 4th, 2006, He went to the Chaoyang Hospital and had a cranial CT scan. CT scan showed there is a large chronic subdural hematoma on the right hemisphere and the brain midline moves to the left. So he was transferred to Puhua hospital .After his admission, he was given test before operation. After an extensive discussion, the neurosurgeon thought his condition is the indication of operatiom. After getting the consent from patient .A burr hole and drainage operation was done under the local anesthesia (2006-10-05) .

The operation run smoothly the postoperative course was uneventful .The stitch was removed 7 days later after operation and no positive sign was found after operation. His condition was stable when he discharged.
