Who we are

Beijing Tiantan Puhua Neuroscience Hospital provides the world’s most advanced stem cell procedures and treatments in Asia’s top neurosurgical hospital, bringing new hope and a better quality of life to people all over the globe.  The Hospital is a world-class facility in the heart of Beijing that now leads the cutting-edge neurological healthcare activities for its internationally-renowned parent hospital and next-door neighbor, Tiantan Hospital.  Established in 1956, Tiantan Hospital boasts a strong reputation as one of the world’s top three neurosurgical research institutes and Asia’s largest centre for neurosurgical therapy, research and education today.  It has been appointed the World Health Organization’s (WHO) neurosurgical training centre for China.

Stem cells procedure

We combine the two programs- stem cells implantation and the self stem cells activation & proliferation process, which provides the most fertile and appropriate environment in the brain for the new implanted cells to  survive and renew themselves.

Add to that, every medical program consist of a comprehensive rehabilitation program of physical and occupational therapy in our rehabilitation center.

1.     Stem cell activation and proliferation treatment

A complete approach of treating different types of neurological malfunctioning based on cell theory, through a comprehensive treatment using medicines that stimulate the production of the body's own neural stem cells. (The procedures involved are daily IV of medicines, oral medication, combined comprehensively with the rehabilitation program.)

2.     Stem cell implantation through different surgical procedures

The stem cells may be injected either through the CSF (spinal cord fluid) by a lumber puncture or through a brain injection into the damaged area, depending on the medical conditions of the patient.

Stem Cell Professionals

Dr. Han Xiaodi, PHD,Director of Neurosurgery

Dr. Han Xiaodi is renowned worldwide for being one of the leaders in performing successful stem cell surgeries and therapies for patients suffering from a number of neurological disorders.  Previous worked in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne Australia.

Dr. Li Ke Wu, PhD,Director of Neurology Departmentl

Dr. Li Ke Wu is Director of the Nuerology Department at the Hospital. His research focus is on using stem cells to help patients overcome the effects of neurological degeneration diseases such as strokes, working to overcome mental diseases, electrophysiology, and more.

Dr. Wang Xiaojuan, PHD,Director of Neurology

Dr. Wang Xiaojuan is one of the world’s most experienced researchers of stem cell surgeries, treatments, and procedures.  Her research focuses on using stem cells to help patients overcome the effects of neurological degeneration diseases, and has is one of Asia’s foremost experts on Cerebral Ischemia and brain injuries.

Who need the Stem cell treatment:

The stem cell treatments reflect wide range neurological diseases.

  • Post stroke patients
  • MSA, Parkinson Disease patients
  • Cerebral Palsy patients
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • MS(multiple scierosis)
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Ataxia
  • ALS
  • Brain injury

What procedures are taken to insure the viability of the stem cells and their sterility?

Tiantan Puhua Neuroscience Hospital collaborates with Peking University’s SC Research Center & Lab (Beida), which is the most reliable laboratory in the country, especially for clinical purposes.
