Background
Orava is a 64 year old American male, who was admitted into Beijing Tiantan Puhua International Hospital complaining of intermittent pain in the liver region for more than 3 years. In the 3 years previous, He experienced intermittent pain in his liver region without apparent cause, which gradually developed into a persistent dull pain. Orava was on pain medication in order to cope with the pain. In January 2008, he underwent an appendectomy at a local hospital. The post surgical pathological diagnosis was appendix carcinoma with liver metastasis and peritoneal metastasis. He did not receive chemotherapy after the operation. As the lesions developed, he received four rounds of folfox 6 Treatments at a local hospital at the beginning of 2009.
Medical condition Pre stem cell treatment

Medical Condition Post-Stem Cell Treatment
His symptoms improved after the treatment. His strength improved and He felt better than before. He felt well enough to get involved in some sports. His sleeping and appetite were both improved. Comparing the PET/CT taken in September 2009 with the abdominal ultrasonography taken on October 21, 2009, it showed that the tumor lesions in the liver lessened, and no clutter blood flow could be seen in the low echo area.
The nature of the lesion was not determined and it could not be diagnosed as "Malignant". His overall treatment was satisfactory.
