Chief neurologist
Dr. Zhou graduated from Harbin Medical University. She continued her academic background at Duke University, where Dr. Zhou conducted research on spirituality and health and at Harvard University her research focused on mind/body medicine-positive psychology.
During her many years of experience, Dr. Zhou’s clinical work has been related to all types of neurological diseases. She has also taught and trained medical students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Additionally, research areas include broad neuropsychology research with an emphasis on such areas as aphasia and cognitive impairment in patients after stroke.
Dr. Zhou aims to provide time for broad-ranging and open consultation with patients and medical students on healthcare and psychological problems, especially for those with stress related symptoms, by combining the holistic methodologies of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and mind/body medicine techniques with the most advanced scientific practices.
