Parkinson' s disease

Parkinson' s disease (also known as PD, Parkinson' s, or Parkinson disease), a degenerative disorder of central nervous system, mainly impairs the movements of sufferer. It is characterized with symptoms of: a loss of physical movement (akinesia) in extreme cases, a slowing of physical movement (bradykinesia), muscle rigidity, tremor, and postural instability. People with PD are noted with little or no expression, soft and mumbling speech pattern, and no swing of the arms while walking.

PD is a not only a chronic disease, but also progressive. For the treatment, there is no cure for PD at present. However, medications or surgery is able to relieve symptoms.
